I've owned a couple homes that matched the character of this song. Both times I recognized the problems with the gutters, before purchasing the home. I have also heard of stories, from friends, of gutters and roof conditions that caused thousands of dollars in repairs, because they didn't recognize the hazards.
The goal is to keep you warm and happy inside your home when the weather is not so nice outside.
